To mark the death of our great friend and colleague Milo Small, MIKA is commissioning a pictorial history of South Africa’s Zulu Nation, his people.
All proceeds will go to African Holocaust (Maafa), a non-profit society dedicated to the study of African history and culture.
The work of the Maafa is best summed up by a traditional African proverb: ‘Until lions write their own history, the tales of the hunt will always glorify the hunter’.
The hardback book entitled Inkatha YeSizwe (‘crown of the nation’) will be illustrated with stunning photography of Zulu culture from the archives of the Motherland Project, and selected historical lithography.

Since 2005 Milo had been consulting for OAU for the launching of the Economic Social and Cultural Council of the African Union (ECOSOCC) in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
Milo was a great friend of India, an avid supporter of our work and, a close and intimate friend of mine who will be much missed.
