What is i-genius?

Hackney based, i-genius is a world community of social entrepreneurs with a 15,000 network (20% in UK) in over 200 countries.
i-genius does four things:
1. Profiles social entrepreneurs and social entrepreneurship via its popular website and social media
2. Events – recent events include a Asia Summit Bangkok 2012, hosted British Council delegations from China, Thailand, Indonesia, Global Healthy Workplace Awards & Summit, London 2013, UK Commission to Pakistan, 2013
3. i-genius Academy – includes being the largest provider of social entrepreneur training to the British Council (12 countries) and a new alumni. A new service, Creative UK, supports universities recruit students to study social sustainable courses
4. i-genius Support – a new services currently under development to support early stage social businesses develop their brand, sales, marketing expertise and assist them in obtaining new customers including exports
i-genius works closely with the British Council and is recommended by BBC World Challenge. It has previously worked on two project with Channel 4 and is currently in partnership discussions with Falmouth University, Northampton University and its founder, Tommy Hutchinson, is a visiting fellow at Liverpool Hope University.
