I run an African cultural tourism agency that links up tourists who want to LIVE(home stay), STUDY (cultural and educational)and WORK (internship and volunteer)in Africa with local hosts in rural villages and towns. Also,am Kenya\'s I-Genius Ambassador. As a social entrepreneur and consultant I believe that Africa can eradicate poverty through sustainable social investing in education and skills(especially information technology) transfer and partnerships with companies, governments and communities. Members of the SE Forum(www.se-forum.se) team (Harry Mcneil, Åse Botha and Jakob Sundberg) with Peter Ongera, one of the local partners, providing valuable information and contacts. Peter believes that the sole cause of the post-election violence is the struggle for and unfair distribution of resources.
SE Forum is a network of people that is working to promote social entrepreneurship. Five members from SE Forum: Eliza Kücükaslan, Erik Stenborg, Harry McNeil, Jakob Sundberg and Åse Bothe.
There are two projects:
1. Exploring the role of the private sector and entrepreneurship in post-conflict situations.
2. Conducting a feasibility study for a management program for future business leaders of sustainable enterprise, in cooperation with Ashoka East Africa
