Welcome to our project concept view.

Project objective: To make rural people educated and self employed and to introduce environmentally friendly modern technology.Project location: This project will be introduced in different areas of rural Bangladesh such as Manikgonj, Khulna, Hobigonj and Comilla. About the Electrification project: Electricity is an essential element of modern life as it depicts development and a higher living standard. Most rural poor people in Bangladesh, however, do not have access to power and electricity. The objective of this project is to introduce power to the country’s rural areas at low costs. Although power is expensive, we will work towards a cost-effective way to introduce electricity to poverty-stricken rural people. That is why have selected biogas electrification system. This is a cheap and environmentally viable method of creating electricity.Project Stage : There are 3 stages in this project. They are: Stage 1 – Introducing electricity to rural people who are not aware of the benefits of modern life.Stage 2 – Encourage self-employment among rural people so they may earn a living using available resources and have autonomy over their lives.Stage 3 – Increase education, thereby developing the skills in an entire village or area.STAGE - 1Improving Living Standards among the Rural PoorThere are many ways through which living standards of the rural people will improve from this project. One major problem encountered in village life without electricity is that it is impossible to do any productive work after sunset. This project will work towards eliminating this problem. Powering a village will affect all members of a society by benefiting men, women and children alike.Firstly the project will benefit school-going village children. Many rural children cannot study after sunset due to lack of electricity and other problems such as oil expenses. Having artificial lighting at night will enable these children to study after sunset.Secondly, if village people can use electricity at night, they will be able to do other creative work and earn money from those activities. Village women can start stitching, making handicrafts, and perform other earnable work during their free time at night. Thirdly, the men of the village may increase their family incomes by either taking a second job at night or starting their own business and working on it after sunset. Finally, a rural area is going to develop very rapidly if power and electricity is provided. Extending the working hours well into the night will enable markets, phone booths, whole sale shops, retail stores and small industries to stay open for more hours in the day and hence increase activity and productivity in the villages. The increase in working hours in turn means that profits and earnings will also go up. STAGE – 2Promoting Self-employment in VillagesThis project will enable village people to start using their own land, resources and man-power to create farming ventures. One option for them is to start a meat and dairy farm that will produce raw materials which will be used in the electricity plant. At the same time this farm will be produce milk and meat. So, poor people can earn money and also produce the raw materials that are essential for the plant. Secondly, they can build a natural fertilizer plant by using the wastage cow dung which is already used in the electricity plant. Village people can start the project to produce natural fertilizer and sell this fertilizer in the market. They can also start a fishing project. These fisheries are profitable for rural poor people as they do not require extra manpower. They can use the same manpower and wastage cow dung.On the other hand, once this project starts running, we will encourage the village women to cultivate vegetables by using own natural fertilizer. For this, we will contact district agricultural officers to train selected women who are engaged in the plant. If we can motivate these women to cultivate vegetable patches behind their homes or on un-used pieces of land, they may earn significant income from this side business. STAGE – 3Increasing Education in our Project AreasUpon commencement of the first stage of the project, we will start an education program for the people in that area. We want to engage educated people in our project so that these people work efficiently and creatively to produce the best results.
