Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays

From the place where it all started, from the town where Rector Brooks wrote his most famous Christmas song about, from the 'little town of Bethlehem', I'd like to wish you a very Merry and Blessed Christmas.

This year was not an easy one at several levels to a lot of people and the World. The Economical crises, political conflicts, injustice, poverty, environment, the .. the .. the …well simply it was not a great year. Nevertheless, we should not oversee the few good things that happened in the year 2009, Obama became the first African American president of USA, ….... amm amm … I'm trying my best to think of something, ...just give me a minute …. I'm sure I'll remember something …. Don't you find it strange that you can't remember the good events of a year when you try to think of them while it is much easier to remember the bad ones !!!

Can you help me remember some of the good news/events of 2009 as we approach it's end? I believe that remembering the good of a year is what keeps us hopeful, optimistic, and able to wish each other a "Happy New Year". Lets try together to remember the happy events of 2009 so we can dream of a better year. Or better yet, lets try to write a wish list that will make the new year the year we all wish for.
